If anyone is willing to help, I would like to know the thickness of the brass at the mouth on the following 7.62x51 headstamps:

LC, FC, WRA, and WCC

I greatly appreciate any help you can provide

Measure a bullet .... seat the bullet and measure the outside diameter of the brass with bullet seated .... subtract bullet diameter from the measurement ... divide the difference by two ... that will be your brass thickness...

Example .335"-.308"= 0.027" .... 0.027"/2= 0.0135" brass thickness

Yes, thank you...

Or measure the neck thickness with my calipers. The reason I'm asking is because I don't have any of the above mentioned brass in my possession.

I checked a few LC, RA and WCC with my tubing mic and all were between 15 and 16 thousands. I don't have any FC. This was an average taken on clean case necks. Lapua will be close to this and Win will be a little thinner.

The thickness of the brass at the mouth really makes no difference. The thickness difference is in the body of the case.
Lapua is commercial. FC, WRA, and WCC may be milsurp. LC is milsurp.
The FC stamp gets around. Used by Federal, Prvi and Departmento de la Industrial Militar, Mexico.
