For those of us who aren't reloaders and like "obsolete" guns, ammo companies bringing back rare and/or obsolete calibers are a real boon. 8mm Nambu is a fine example. For years it was impossible to find and is now available.
There's no way for me to ever break even much less save money by reloading even if I wanted to. I don't shoot nearly enough. I would hazard a guess that a good number of reloaders aren't saving money when you consider the value of the time involved. Reloading, while a great hobby for folks who enjoy and take pleasure in the time spent doing it, isn't for everyone. What free time I have I use for things I enjoy. Sitting in front of a machine doing a repetitive task ain't one of them. It reminds me of a crappy factory job I had when I was a kid.
