Hey guys.

I currently own a DD AR15, VZ58 and two MSAR STGs. I'm interested in adding another carbine to my collection.

I would like to stick with calibers I already own and stock- magazine commonality isn't as important to me.

Currently I'm looking into two different carbines, the Sig556 Classic and the PTR-32. I would like to hear from users and shooters their experiences with one or the other- or both. (mechanical accuracy, reliability, ergonomics, "feel" fit&finish)

I am also open to suggestions of other carbines that fire the 5.56/.223 and 7.62x39

Pictures of the two carbines for posterity.

I have the Sig 556 SWAT, and mine is a good rifle. It's about a 1.5 MOA shooter so not as accurate as some but still good.

Other points (based on my experience with it):
-extremely low recoil (less than a typical AR)
-stays on target well due to low recoil and heavier forearm
-very reliable
-the chamber stays cleaner and cooler longer than an AR, but you do have a piston to clean eventually
-rotary diopter sight is nice
-folding stock
-ambidextrous controls
-side charging handle
-takes AR-15 magazines
-decent trigger

Downsides
-it's a touch heavy
-some people report inconsistent quality control

I haven't shot the other rifle so I don't have an opinion on that one.
