Mods, not sure if this is the correct place for this....

Anyway, I'm polishing up a couple of rounds each in calibers/gauges for my guns for a display. It started when my nephew gave me a couple of unfired 12ga rounds, the cases of which are all brass. I'd like to find 2 unfired 16ga rounds with all brass cases for this display.

I've contacted a few local gun shops and done a couple of Google searchs and can't locate any. Hopefully someone here will have a lead on where to find them.

I'd like to build a display case with fitted, felt lined recesses for each round to lay in, with a finished wood cabinet & glass front. If anyone has suggestions on how to make the recesses, I'd appreciate hearing them.

CliffH,
If you get no bites here try over at the 16 Gauge Society or SASS. Someone there should be able to hook you up with 2 shells. Magtec makes brass 16 ga shells but from you post you do not want a whole box.

Thank you both.

I'll check out the 16 Gauge Society & SASS.

Seems as if my search-fu is weak tonight, I couldn't seem to find the rounds at Midway, just the reloadable brass. I'll call them tomorrow.

I really wasn't looking for an entire box, but, to complete the project, I may "shell" out the funds.

I use the MagTech cases and have 125 of them. I would be willing to send you a couple if you email or PM me. email might get a quicker response.

Shipping loaded rounds might be a bit iffy. Keep in mind that the MagTech are not loaded rounds but hulls to be loaded by the purchaser. These are not the antiques, but 16ga hulls I loaded myself.

Thanks for the offer Armedandsafe. Email sent.

I would prefer all of the rounds in the display to be functional/loaded though.
