Looking into Tech Sights: Ak74 and SKS

I want to put some tech sights on my AK74 and SKS. Just looking for some information and reviews/info positive or negative about the sights.

Lots of people I've spoken to are happy with theirs. I wasn't too happy with the ones on my 10/22... Wow, I sure was helpful . Sorry about that. I'd say try them and if you don't like them, throw them up on the WTS boards and get most of your money back. At least then you'll know.

It says they will work on AK variants, so is an AK74 a variant of the AK47?

How is the dust cover supplied with the AK sights?

I've got Tech-Sights on my SKS, three 10/22s, and a mini-14.
All are great

No experience with them on an AK or SKS but for the 10/22 I think they're the best money I've ever spent on a firearm accessory.

I have them on one of my SKS' and they are spectacular! Dollar for dollar the best upgrade you can get for an SKS imoho.

Yes, a '74 is a variant of the '47.

I didn't like them on my AK-74 and took them off. Even with the longer "NATO length" stock the rear sight was just too close to my face. I had to crane my neck backwards uncomfortably to get a proper sight picture.

I love the set on my 10/22. Changed from a frustrating gun to shoot because of the godawful factory sight to a tack driver.

I have tech sights on my WASR10. They are excellent and hold their zero after field stripping.
