Looking to buy a new Ruger Vaquero

I owned a Ruger New Vaquero but traded it off years ago. I want to replace it so I figured I'd just order one from my lgs.

But looking at the Ruger website, it looks like they have a matte finish... That pic is from Ruger's website.

Mine looked more like this... Is it just bad pics on Ruger's website or did they change the finish on their Vaquero's?

There's a page for the stainless guns and one for the blued guns.

As far as I know, they are still high polish blue.

On the website? Yeah but they don't really appear "polished" either. Could be my eyes. Maybe I'll give them a call.

Tanners in Pa are selling uberti el patron on Gunbroker for below $400.
I bought one.
Just an option....about half the price of a Vaquero. Case hardened, and smooth action to boot.
They also have Cattleman models for $330!
Just a heads-up.
The vaquero is a better gun, but these Uberti can scratch the itch too.
