I am looking to start reloading 350 Legend

Components available are WW brass, Lee dies, Hornady 170 gr .355

I have Accurate 1680 Powder which was recommended but can't find any load data for this powder in 350 Legend

Am aware that IMR 4227, Lil Gun, 296 are recommended as well but can't find these powders so I'm working with the 1680

Anybody?

Trying to develop a load for a relatively new round during a time of political unrest and component scarcity like this is always going to be challenging. It's hard to support old established cartridges, let alone new cartridges. I went through similar difficulties with the 460 Rowland back during the previous two terms of unrest and scarcity. What was immensely useful to me was a site called LoadData.com. I don't know if you're familiar with that site or not. I was able to find ample data for the 460 Rowland for powders and bullets that weren't listed anywhere else and then I was better able to make use of the components that I was lucky enough to get my hands on. If nobody around here is able to help you directly, that would be my suggestion. The fact is, you're exploring new territory here and you're off the edge of the known map so to speak. That's a fun place to be but sailing those waters is going to be more difficult than sailing in well mapped waters.

This is the Hodgdon reloading data page. Nothing listed for Accurate 1680. If someone recommended 1680 to you for 350 Legend, best bet is to get their load recommendation as well. As for me, I have 3 of the Hodgdon recommended powders, so I can readily follow their load data. On the other hand, you may want to find that elusive IMR 4227 powder. I picked up 4 lbs recently, and I wasn't even looking. Local gun shop for 2, forgot I bought it, and picked up another 2 at Cabela's. If you have reason to travel to SW Ohio (Dayton area), I'll be happy to sell you a pound or two. I expect to be in Fort Wayne on 1 May, so that may be a connection time as well.

I want to load 350 legend rounds. I can not find new brass. Found a deal on Browning 145g rounds. I want to pull the bullets and powder and load with 4227 and 165 ftx. Do I need to crimp after I load the case?

I don't understand why you wouldn't just fire the factory rounds. You'll then have once fired cases to do with as you will. That said, yes, you should definitely crimp these. I wouldn't put the massive roll crimp I found on my Winchester 145gr factory ammo, but you do want to hold that bullet in there.
I didn't crimp the one single bullet I loaded for my first test firing, and ended up jamming the bullet into the lands, whereupon I pulled the bullet out trying to open the bolt, and that ended my 350 Legend shooting for the day. I think there's still powder jammed into nooks and crannies in that upper. Funny, the bullet fit the chamber during home testing...by I wanted to test for feel after a factory round so I loaded it as the 3rd round. Bang, Bang, thunk!! End of story.
