Louisiana Class, Texas or Florida CHL?

I took the class in Louisiana about a month ago, and I've taken a job in Texas. I want to know if I can use the Louisiana class for a Texas or even better, Florida permit.

The was I understand it, if the class was offered by a Texas or Florida certified instructor, I can use the class to get the permit?

If so, does anyone know where I could get the list for the Texas and/or Florida certified instructors?

My Mississippi hunter safety card worked to get a Florida nonresident CCW, so I think you're good to go for FL.

Your Louisiana class is good for the Florida liscence, but not for Texas. You have to take the class in Texas for the Texas permit. The Florida permit, however, will allow you to carry in Texas.

If you have a non-res fla license, does that allow you to forego the nics requirement when purchasing a firearm in texas?

Sorry, a Florida CWFL doesn't qualify as a NICS alternative.

I was thinking that if you are a resident of Texas, you can't use out of state permits. I could be wrong though.

I think you have to take the CHL class in Texas for a Texas permit.
