Just wanted to praise my new G29. Got it about a month ago and only shot a box through it but i've got the grip extensions and as bad as i've ALWAYS hated the way a Glock feels... I really like this gun. Especially with 11 rounds of 10mm on tap. Anyway just thought i'd see how everybody else likes the G29.

I know how you feel. I've had mine three years now and it only seems to get easier to shoot. I generally keep it loaded with 175 grain Winchester Silvertips. The thing I've noticed is that all the reloading data out there is for longer barrels. I generally avoid full power (hand)loads and seem to shoot better with faster powders and below maximum loads (any more than 9.1 grains of BlueDot gets blown out of the muzzle). I haven't chronographed factory ammo yet to see how they compare with what it says on the box.

It's a great pistol and would have to think real hard about trading it.

I have mine full of Hornady 180 grains right now until I can find some hot loaded Gold Dots. Looking at Georgia Arms for some cheaper stuff but if I can ever afford some Double tap i will get some of that! I've usually stuck with smaller caliber guns like my 9mm 5906 S&W and my brother who has a Para Ordnance double stack .45 used to give me hell about not having enough gun. He finally admitted the other day that I now have the title of the big boy gun! haha.

I have one as well. Its my new favorite woods gun, its hard to beat 11 rounds of 10mm justice.

Yea I did the same thing when my shooting buddies were laughing at me for carrying a 9mm. Now that I have a 10mm I tease them about thier puny .45.

Love both Glock 10mm flavors. I have a G-29 and also a G-21 that I converted to 10mm. The 10mm is one heck of a fun/versatile round, especially if you roll your own.
