Loving my new Glock 29sf

Since recently getting my Glock 29sf and couple of range trips, I think I'm in love. I was just a bit concerned about the heavier recoil reports and a little bummed that I'd have to deal with a thicker frame, but those two just cancelled each other out. On my last trip to the range I worked up 180gr loads up to maximum and the recoil really wasn't a big deal. If anything, I could make faster and accurate follow up shots than with my .40 cal XDm because the thicker grip on the 29 disperses the kick much better. The SF grip is perfect with the pierce finger extension and the stock sights are very fast to acquire aim with. Either with my bad hand or one handed, I could make decent shots quite comfortably.

The G29 has become my "do everything handgun". I'm getting the feeling that my XDm .40 will be up for sale and I may just put those funds to a Glock 20 or even another 29!

Anyone else so pleased with a gun that the next one that you want is just another just like it?

I love mine. I feel the same way about it. The 20 was to big for my hand but the 29 fit it like a glove. With the ability to use full size G20 mags its my favorite gun in my safe. I got if woods carry, and now it does it all.

I'm so jealous. I have toyed with the idea of getting a G29 for years. And now that it's available in SF version, it's even more attractive. I've had these visions of it being my final end-all, beat-all. It really can do everything a handgun can possibly do. I even thought I'd put a G20 barrel in it for backwoods times (every 10 years or so when I go backwoods).

Problem is, I have about 6 pistols that were end-all, beat-alls. And about 4 watches. And at least 5 pocket knives. Not to mention several other non-folding knives. O jeez, and don't even get me started on guitars. O man, and bibles....

I don't know what it is with the Glock 10mm- no matter which one you get you want the other one too. I started withe the G20SF and had to buy the G29SF as well. Now if Springfield would just make a 10mm XDs...
