How many sticks of lube does it normally take before the lube on bullets comes out the same. I have a lot of half green half red lube rings. I joke it's to show port and starboard sides of the bullet.

I don’t know that I ever run into that. I always run it down to nothing then used Ol’ Sol and our wonderful Florida exposure to heat it up and drain the dregs. I don’t recall it ever being more than a thimble full, at most. So, maybe a couple dozen? Less? Just a wag.

I can't answer the OP's question. When I really want to change flavors, I use a heat gun to melt out every molecule I can. It's been many years since I've done that, though. I just keep one lubrisizer for blackpowder and the other for smokeless, and I haven't changed lube in either for decades...

I have over 150 at this point with very little indication of change... the lube groves are tiny on these witch will only make it longer...

Same. Or when it ain't hot and sunny, a heat gun or hair dryer makes quick work of it too.
