Dropped by Keith's GS in Gresham, OR today on a whim. Not really looking for anything specific, but saw a display with a Butler Creek LULA AR15 magazine loading and unloading accessory. Bought it and WOW, what a neat accessory! Makes me actually look forward to loading a bunch of mags to go to the range. If you haven't tried it, it's a goodun! :)

Agree'd, mine is one of the best birthday presents my wife has given me--just based on how often I use it.

I seldom shoot the AR, but I have their Universal model, and I wouldn't part with it. I have tender hands (never done any real work until I retired), and my thumbs get sore loading some magazines. Not so with their loader. About the only thing I haven't tried it on is the Desert Eagle 44 Mag

Big fan of the AR version here. That and tube loader for .22LR guns are two of the best things I've ever bought to make shooting more enjoyable.

You aren't kidding it's a good 'un. My wife's birthday present this summer was a slot in Louis Awerbuck's carbine class. The LULA was a lifesaver for me- I held down the support duties like loading magazines so she could pay attention to the class stuff. Her ammo was commercial Federal, not on stripper clips, so the LULA really paid off.

She'd have had enough magazines to run for a day without reloading, but at the last minute she decided to bring along one of her Criminal Justice students to fill an empty slot in class, and we had to split her magazines with him (and provide an AR plus ammo).

I have the AR, AK, UZI, M14, and uplula, all are top notch. They are easy and quick.
