The Le Mat is an interesting revolver, but the ergonomics of loading them are ...not easy ....

The LeMat has a few idiosyncrasies that are easily mastered. The spring clip that holds the loading lever is very light weight. The mushroom for charging the center barrel comes out when firings. Reliable ignition of the center barrel can be challenging.
Not a good choice for the novice cap and ball shooter. It is a accurate revolver with considerable fire power. A must have for any advanced collector.
