Midsouth shooters supply has the Lyman brass it 8 hole turret press on sale for 216.00
it’s good for testing multiple loads at once! I have 3 different loads on it right nowMidsouth shooters supply has the Lyman brass it 8 hole turret press on sale for 216.00
I can say the turret is a little bit wobbly and the priming system was an afterthoughtI've seen mixed reviews, never had my hands on one so don't know. I don't see if being any faster then that lee you recently got.
my turret is a little wobbly, very little, I could probably tighten the big nut on top but the wobble don’t bother meIs the turret wobbly or not?
I use it for developing loads and small runs. I prefer to do things in big batches. My Rock Chucker is so heavy duty it makes things effortless! Then my Lee App is so fast!My turret is rock solid. Wish the one in my Lee turret was. But it don't effect my loads. So i guess lee has it all figured out. Yeah the priming system can be wonky. Mine improved as i used it. I no longer use the tube feed since i got my RCBS bench prime. I still use the lyman one for loading only a few rounds. I just place a primer in the cup on the ram.
Only slightly- .003"Is the turret wobbly or not?
https://www.lymanproducts.com/replacement-primer-tube-small-for-brass-smith-primer-feedMine is solid, no wobble. I have it set up for .38 and 9mm. The only thing I don't like is the primer tube won't always hold the primers when you're loading it up. Maybe I need a new tube, but I don't know where to order one.

I can’t remember but I believe I paid $150-ish mabey lower, like 2 years agoI already have one, just hadn’t set it up yet. Will most likely leave it set up for 38/357 and 44. Amazon had them for 180.00 a couple weeks ago.

I wish they made a 12 turret! then I can put 4 loads in thereMy only question is the advantage of 8 stations over 4: I understand that it would be nice to set up a turret with two calibers, maybe one rifle and one pistol. But if you're only using, say 4 stations for one caliber, then you have to index it another 4 times to get back to the beginning for each round loaded.
Isn't this extra work over using a 4-station press with an extra turret for the other caliber?
