This is a solid turret press. It has the shortest throw of my 3 presses (Hornady LNL Classic, FA M-Press, Lyman Brass Smith All American 8). Zero slop in the linkage. A few threads back someone mentioned some flex in the turret, but they must have amazing detection tools, because I don't see any turret flex.
That said...primer feeder sucks. Had Lyman send me replacement parts...and they made the problem worse. I stopped priming on the press...nearly 100% by hand with FA Perfect Prime hand primer. If I definitely want to prime on the press the Hornady LNL Classic with automatic primer feed, while also challenging, is light years ahead of the Lyman.
