I struck a deal for a lyman truline Jr with 3 die sets. Trading off some factory ammo for it worth about 60 bucks give or take. Die sets are 38spl, 32sw, and another I'm not sure on since it's listed as "30" I'm hoping 30 carbine. I will use both 38 and 32 die sets for sure.

So (RC I'm looking your way) does anyone have one of these and know what to expect? I have tried a couple other turrets with little success but for the price I'm willing to try it again. Will the turret accept standard die sets or is this one of those quirky presses that take brand specific dies? I see it has compound leverage, so it should be good for resizing. Any limitations, things to look for, etc would be great info. I will post what pics I have if I can figure out how to move them from text message to here.

They originally used the little 5/8"-30 Lyman 310 tong-tool dies.

They have made plates for modern 7/8" x 14 dies.

So, it could be either.

Looking at this from a different perspective...if I end up not liking this setup and deciding to liquidate it, what should I expect to get? Ebay has prices all over for both presses and dies. Can I get my money back out of the press should I choose to do so? How big of a market is there for such obsolete equipment?
