M&P 9mm

Can someone please explain to me the differences between the following two M&P models? I can't see any difference:

209001:

209301

I know the 209301 says "No Thumb Safety" but the 209001 doesn't have a safety in the picture either.

Ooh ooh! One says "STAINLESS" on the side of the slide. The other doesn't.

But seriously...the picture could just be wrong on the other one. Not sure.

It might be the part number for with a safety, not always due websites post all pictures of their products. Ruger will show you the product saying image is representative, but not the product selected.

The M&P9 SKU# 209001 can be had with optional nightsights

209001 has the magazine disconnect safety, while 209301 does not.
