M&P shield

KAS, . . . the trigger is why I will probably be getting the Shield. I had a Kahr CW9, which some say has the best DAO trigger, . . . . but I just didn't like [nor could get used to] the long pull. I have yet to try the Shield trigger [not in any stores here yet, but the one that is getting some are around $425], but from what I have seen and heard, it will probably be what I like. If by some chance it just doesn't work for me, I will go onto the next gun, whatever it will be.

I love mine. I NEVER thought I would like a compact anything as much as I like this. I shoot it well enough to use it for IDAP or USPSA, if only I had a bunch of extra mags.

I agree 100%. It's a great little gun that shoots and handles as well as most full size guns.

Carry mine all the time in one of my kydex OWB holsters.

If I get time I may try out one of my hybrid IWB holsters, but for some reason I don't have any dang time.

Bought mine 3rd day after release...Paid $409 at LGS....So far about 600 flawless trouble free rounds thru it...Love the trigger right out of the box...It's now my main CCW...I also own a Kahr CM9,and a Ruger LC9...One of these will be going soon...I don't care or worry about the safety...I just leave it off...IMO,can't beat M&P's...awesome platform...

Congrats. I looked at one last week at my LGS

Since I already own a PM9, P380, Nano, and a PPS, I didn't see the need for another pistol similar in size to,the PPS. That said, the Shield is a nice pistol and I am sure you will enjoy owning the pistol.
