I was reading an article in the latest American Rifleman where the author was testing an Auto Ordnance M1 carbine. I was wondering if any of you have had any experience with this carbine. I am mostly interested in whether it is reliable and reasonalby accurate (the author claimed 2" at 100 yards).

I am thinking of a pinking carbine, and maybe I'll add this one to my stable.

Thanks,

love mine. 2000 rounds & no problems. I put a different stock on-looks much more realistic. bayonet lug usually available on ebay "m1 carbine"- slips on with front band. fires wolf ammo fine. accurate.fast rate of fire. 14 year old son handles it well

I noticed that the carbine did not have a bayonet lug.

That's because AO is making their Carbines in WW2 configuration now. The bayonet lug was not introduced until 1945 and few if any so-equipped M1s saw service during the war.
