M1 Carbine question.

Has anyone ever tried putting an Accu Strut (or a similar device) on an M1 Carbine to help improve the accuracy? I know the Accu Strut has has some good reviews being used on the Mini 14 and Mini 30 but I was wondering if it would help the M1 Carbine. I have an Accu Strut but have yet to mount it on my Mini 14 yet and I was thinking about getting an M1 Carbine and wanted to know if anyone has tried this. If not I might have to be the first .

Interesting idea, but probably not needed on at least a GI one-- and probably not even on a Universal or a newer Auto Ord/Kahr either... I would use one on a Mini-- maybe even a new model Mini, but I have shot alot through a GI Underwood M1, and never had any issues at the normal distances it was designed...Give it a try though-- YMMV! 8*)

Well I don't know from person experience if the M1 is accurate enough for say 150yd shots but I've heard it is. I guess if I ever get around to getting one it can't hurt to try the accu strut.

My old Inland shoots way better than either of the two Mini14s and Mini30 I had. You could try it for giggles and report back on any improvement noted.
