M1 Carbine

Greetings all. I have come across an M1 Carbine at the local shop. It has been neglected. Bore is somewhat dirty, top hand-gaurd loss, some nicks and scratches on wood, so on. It has had a ruff & tuff time. I was just wonderin, what is the least a "working" yet beat and in need of TLC M1 Carbine (Inland) fetch at this time? All input appreciated.

Is it an Inland? Just make sure it's a USGI issue of some kind, and not one of the commercial aftermarket carbines. Nothing necessarily wrong with the commercials, just don't let them charge you a USGI price for it.
