Hi all,
What was the main reason that caused Ordnance to give the M1 Garand Contract to Winchester and not Remington in 1939?

Hi all,
The answer is that Remington wanted their money up front for the M1 Garand order. Winchester was willing to take payments over a time frame as orders were filled.
