M1S .22LR upper owners (not conversions) - opinion?

I'm looking to build a dedicated .22LR AR. I want a lightweight profile 16" barrel, and it appears only Model 1 Sales makes one. I'm not interested in a conversion, I've had a M261 for years. This will be a dedicated carbine on a ,22LR marked lower.

Those of you that own a M1S conversion upper - how do you like it? Have you had any problems? Did your upper require much tuning?
