i am looking to purchase or buy parts to make a brass deflector for issued rifle. Standard m4 rifle with m68 red dot (close to aim point patrol rifle optic) quad rail forend. Any help appreciated

Mike

Will be purchasing 20 units and will be swapped on rifles being used to shoot/qualify

The standard M4 has a brass deflector integral to the upper receiver forging. Are you looking for a brass catcher? Or is the integral brass deflector not performing satisfactorily?

Being a southpaw, the only "deflection" issue that ever caused me any problems was remedied with an easy buffer weight adjustment.

Those lumps on the side of the receiver do a great job.

If you're trying to look out for the guy beside you, I can attest to PedalBikers link.

Ejects brass at 1 o'clock-ish, which showers the shooter to left with hot brass. My bass utilizes a indoor range with no booths/partitions separating shooters. Range officers are not accepting of brass catchers

Mike,
If nothing above is what you're looking for, IM me. I can make a 3D model of whatever you're looking for (please give me a description, picture, etc...).

I'm confused about why you can't use a brass catcher. Especially if they don't have booths. Would they make you leave stuff out of your revolver too?

I can't find a picture of it, but I've seen a bandana slid through the scope mounts and tied in a knot so it didn't come out, then it just draped over the ejection port. Pic poster claimed it worked.
