I heard over the last few months that the Zastava M85NP PAP pistols are no longer being imported by Century. I've even heard that Zastava is no longer producing them. Are these rumors true? I suspect they are as some of the big YouTube gun channels have mentioned it.

For those of you who don't know, the M85NP PAP is a .223Rem/5.56x45mm AK pistol that is outfitted with a magazine well capable of accepting regular AR magazines.

Anyways, I bought one to SBR. I kind of wanted one anyways and I figured if the rumors are true, they'll start inching up in price (I doubt their price will skyrocket as I'm sure lots have been made and they're not of historical significance, but perhaps I'm wrong).

Speaking of SBRing, I've heard that the pistol can easily be made to accept an underfolder stock. I do not know whether I want an underfolder stock, but if you know the feasibility of this, I'm all ears.

Anyways, what has everyone heard about these pistols? Thanks!

IMHO the underfolder stock is more trouble than its worth and adds at least four extra holes in your receiver that need to be precisely located.

The easiest way to SBR is to use a US Machinegun stock adapter. Its what I did.

I drilled and tapped the rear trunnion of my Mini-Draco for a folding adapter and an ACE stock. I like it better than the US Machinegun adapter and ACE stock but it was much easier to do and is reversible if you ever want to remove it from the registry for a non-NFA sale.
