I actually learned crap

the show is good in my opinion. I learned a hellofa lot more about the Javelin than i ever knew... as for Mack, I think it was neat to have a SEAL for a show host compared to some other person with much less if any training. He seems stable and and even though he doesnt act all too good, that just lets us know if hes filling the veiwers with bs

I could stand him better if he got off the whole Iran's F14s were sabotaged and have never flown since that date and could never be used, even knowing they tore the Iraqi airforce to pieces years afterwards during the Iran Iraq war.

Other than that he is so so. I still think there are better hosts out there. I wish they do another season of Conquest.

I agree with you 100% on the Survivorman / Man vs. Wild comparison, Cosmo.

I'm a veteran, and I've spent a big chunk of my life in the wilderness, but I think I learned something useful from every episode of Survivorman. It was a genuinely fascinating show. Man vs. Wild is just tedious, and useless from an educational standpoint.
