I was wondering which companies make pistols that are truly made in the USA. By that I mean the parts in made in the USA, and they are assembled in factories in the USA by workers in the USA. It seems like a lot of manufactures claim to have their guns made here, but in reality many of the parts are made elsewhere, or they are assembled elsewhere.

If Ruger's literature is correct, an example would be the SR1911 (I don't know if Ruger's other pistols are made in the USA).

That list is definitely a good starting point, Vonderek. However, the list doesn't seem to only list manufactures that release guns that are 100% made in the USA. For example, while Kimbers are assembled in the USA, and most parts are made in the USA, some parts are not. For example, the Kimber Solo has a lot of parts that are made in Israel. I have nothing against Kimber (obviously since I own one and love it!), nor do I have something against firearms that are made overseas. I'm simply trying to get a grasp of which "Made in the USA" stamps really signify 100% USA-made.

I noticed that list is not complete but it's a good starting point. Beretta also has a plant in the US as do others.

50 or 100 round Helical-feed magazines in 9mm and .22 .

They've moved to Cornelius, Oregon, and apparently re-tooled the process.

I've wanted one since seeing them in Spaceballs, and realizing they weren't fake prop guns when they used the one in "Hard Boiled" Now that they're local I have to spend less on my wife and kid's shooting and get my Liberty III pistol.

With the exception of the Spartan. I believe the frame, slide, & barrel are all from Armscor, with STI firing group parts fitted at STI.

True. from the Philippines I believe.
