Looking at a Mossberg 590 Special Purpose 20 gauge, but not 21 for a few months. So my question is, once I turn 21, where can I get a high cap. mag extension? Couldn't find any on mossberg's website or a couple others. Also, the specific shotgun I found already has a grip-pump on it (idk the technical name) where you pump it with your fist upright. Where can I get just a reg. forearm for the thing? Again no results on mossberg's website or some others.

Do some more research.

590 comes only in 12 Gauge and it already holds 9 rds. No such animal in 20g unless it's someone's bastardized creation.

Loaded up it already weighs in alarmingly heavy and the feed tube is at the same length as the barrel. It'll look awkward with an additional 2+ extension.

The vertical grip is an add-on. Stock is the regular handguard.

The only model 500 that can accept a tube extension is the 500 Tactical breacher shotgun & 500 MilsGun.

The 500 Persuader has a closed sealed mag tube and can't accept a tube extension. You will have to replace the whole mag tube and the barrel to get a full length mag tube that holds more rounds. I don't believe they offer a full length mag tube & barrel for the 20Ga shotguns only 12Ga. You would be better off buying a new shotgun that can accept tube extension or has a full length mag tube.

Your shotgun is just fine the way it is.
