Magazine conversion

Does anyone know how hard, or possible at all, it would be to convert a blind magazine to a hinged floor plate off another rifle? I have a Mossberg 100 ATR and you can't find the magazine assembly off a Mossberg 4x4 anywhere. Mossberg themselves won't even sell it. I'm having a McMillan stock custom inletted for my action and would really like a hinged floor plate instead of the blind magazine. That or even a detachable box magazine assembly.

I would expect that any detachable box magazine or hinged floorplate setup you get for your Mossberg is going to have to be a custom, one-off design. It will probably cost more than the rifle did originally.
