I have "inherited" a few boxes of CCM Magnum primers.
I load .38 Special, .357 Magnum and .40 S&W--all range loads, definitely not hot. But, for fun, I plan to make some hot .357 loads.
I use Titegroup and mostly truncated and semi-wads.
I know that CCM says that the Magnum primers should be used in the .357 Magnum and also in temperatures below 20F.
I know that they are a hotter and slower burning.
I also know that lawyers rather than ammo engineers write the warnings.
So, what can I expect if I use the Magnum primers?
For example, will I notice any difference if I use them in .40 S&W's?
Thanks.
