Mags for Glock 22

I have a friend who has a Glock 22.
He was looking for some more mags and wanted me to ask what everybody likes.
Glock mags of course but what aftermarket ones if any?
Best place to purchase? (shipping + price combo)

Police trade in Glock 22 (.40 S&W) mags are everywhere for 10 bucks assuming you aren't in a 10rd restricted area. Cheaper than aftermarket anyway.

Sadly due to a silly naming scheme we have to know if you are talking Glock model 22 (.40) or Glock 22 LR
(Glock 44). If it's the latter then Mags are pretty much limited to factory and not cheap.

With the number of G22 Police Trades coming in and being stripped of all the extra mags used ones should be everywhere. I know around here the issue number is 6 Mags.

Glock for serious use. Magpul or KCI for range/informal competition use. IMO.

Most of my Glocks are 40 or 10mm. I use only factory Glock mags in those and they are plentiful for 10 dollars (in .40) at AIM surplus/sportsmans guide/ cdnn/ smokey mt guns and ammo....etc. or any of the places that sell Police Trade in mags

In 9mm I have used the Khan Asian military mags which as far as I can tell are the same as factory Glock. I've also used magpul in my 9mms

I've had so much trouble with aftermarket mags that I pretty much only use factory mags in most of my guns. Luckily Glock mags are cheap. But even in my HK and Sig etc guns I'll just pay the 30-50 bucks each before I'll screw around with a bad aftermarket one.
