We remembered Pearl Harbour on Thursday. How seriously did we take the militarist's proclamations that had come from Imperial Japan? Did they mean what they were saying. Was the USA "sleeping at dawn?"
The poor Iranian people. They're pawns and innocent, but...
In an aftermath the UN will send it's Chamberlain representatives to obtain peace in our time, but Mr. Putin will not let the opportunity pass by to regain the glory of the old days.

I do think all the signs are blarringly staring us in the face as you state.

You know, I think its worth remembering that twenty years ago we in the West had an enemy who actually had thousands of nukes, millions of men in uniform, an ongoing strategy for world domination, who sponsored terrorism globally and who we had profound disagreements with across the globe (and, who as a matter of fact had probably killed more people than Hitler), and who were directing quite a bit of their attention at us.
These little clowns in the Middle East are nowhere near the same league as them, and to even suggest that they have some kind of global threat does noone except them any favours.
Besides, when the oil runs out that whole region will turn into the irrelevance it was before.

Most people in the world want to live in peace. I believe that most of the German and Japanese population, were victims of their governments, and most Muslims are the same.
There are always the power hungry, and the hateful that try to rule everyone else.
There are parallels between the nazi and the moderen jihadis. It is up to the Good Muslims of the world to change the attitudes in their countries so that this becomes unacceptable.
Those Good Muslims in this country need to be proactive to prevent this teaching in this country. They are in a position to guide and to lead in their comunities.
There are always the power hungry, and the hateful that try to rule everyone else.

Do you have a source for this? Outside of Townhall and Limbaugh broadcasts, I mean. Iran had a strong pro-democracy movement for many years, and in the 90s many were fans of Western culture. That began to change after Bush II's coronation and his ham-handed blathering about the "axis of evil." That did a good job of alienating Iranians with affection toward the West, but from what I've heard the democratic movement is ascendant again. The best way to eliminate Iran as a threat will be for the West to back that movement and subvert the fundamentalist culture (which most Iranians hate anyway) with Western culture.

As comparing him to Hitler well lets see:
1. Strong sense of nationalism....CHECK
2. Belief that Jews should be exterminated....CHECK
3. Rebuilding and upgrading Iranian military....CHECK
4. Intolerance for anyone different....CHECK
5. Belief that Iran should rule middle east....CHECK
6. Gives massive speaches and rallies....CHECK
7. Attempting to rewrite history without Jews in it....CHECK
8. Previous military career....CHECK
Well yeah maybe, but Hitler had more juevos than this guy does, but if Iran does get "THE BOMB", then he will definetly attack into Iraq.
