MAJOR US MFG BRASS 6.5 CM UNPRIMED SRP. (mfg by who?)

I'm thinking that small rifle primer brass would be less likely to loosen up over the course of multiple firings...

Who makes this blemished brass...it is advertised at Graf's. Has anybody tried this stuff, is it any good?

I don't know, but I don't know anyone making small primer 6.5 Creed brass that makes bad brass. Is it cheap? If it isn't, buy a known product.

Made me look. $48/100 + $10 shipping

6.5 Creedmoor Unprimed Brass Small Primer

Made by a major US brass manufacturer, this brass may have blemishes from the cleaning or manufacturing process.

Looks like there are several other sizes available

They’re not allowed to tell you, otherwise they don’t get the deal.
Who ever didn’t control their post manufacturing cleaning process well enough doesn’t want humans to think they make less than impeccable brass, thus the secrecy.
After all, if they can’t clean them right, what else is wrong with them?
Odds are far greater than not, nothing at all. Just some water spots.

Not a terrible deal, not wonderful with shipping.

Let us know how it goes...;)

Over pressure is over pressure. If they loosen up too quick, they’re too hot. Most like the greater consistency in small primers.

Small primer brass last longer than large primed, but most guys aren’t wearing out even large primed brass so quickly that it becomes a prohibitively high relative cost. 300-400 pieces of large primer 6.5 creed brass will outlast your barrel. You’ll have $200-400 in brass, have spent around $2000 in powder/primer/bullets, and burned up a ~$700 barrel... buying another $200-400 in brass to go with the new barrel is relatively cheap.

I know Lapua and Starline manufacture 6.5 CM with small primer pockets. There may be more out there, I don't know. The fact that it's a US manufacturer and that Starline is a mere 2 hour drive or less from Graf's , I'm guessing Starline. A look at the headstamp would tell for sure.

It’s more than likely Peterson Brass. I ordered some 308 brass last year described the same way “Major US Manufacturer”. It was excellent quality. I have Peterson SR Creedmoor brass (purchased in 50ct packages) and its good stuff.
