I have a MAK-90, it has awful trigger slap, I used to have a WASR10, the WASR10 didn't as it had a G2 trigger when I bought it, so my question is when purchasing a G2 trigger, do I want the "single hook" version or the "double hook" version for the MAK-90? (its a stamped receiver MAK-90, if that helps)

****edit***
never mind folks i guess ive found out it takes the double hook one

I believe it's dependent on how your receiver is cut. If there's two slots cut on the bottom of your recever, kind of next to,and forward of,the trigger, it'll take a double hook ( without modification). If there's only one groove/slot cut out, then the single hook, Nalioth or somebody that knows for sure oughta be along shortly.

edit: I just noticed your edit!!

Trigger slap with the Chinese FCG? Never heard of that. Anyway, the MAK90 takes a double hook. TAPCO G2 drops right in and feels about as good as the original.

You can put a single hook trigger into a double hook gun and get a bit better trigger pull. Going the other way requires you mod the receiver so it end up having the double hook trigger cut out.

I'm pretty sure the Chinese AKs used the double hook trigger.

Both of my MAK-90's have double-hook triggers, and I assumed all MAKs had them, but the triggers on my two are very smooth with no hint of slap.
