Mak 90 FCG question

I am in the process of swapping out stocks on my MAK 90. I know I need to buy a new FCG and few other U.S. Parts to be legal. Which one do i need? Tapco offers single hook and double hook? My guns stock hammer has the two hooks? is one hook better or should I just replace the two hook with a us made two hook? Any help is appreciated.

I'd use the Tapco 2 hook. I have one in my MAK 90 and it works great.

The TAPCO doublehook G2 is a perfect fit. Nice trigger pull also. I have a them in most of my AKs.

If you can use dual hook, then do it. I put a G2 dual hook in a MAK-90 I used to have- no problems whatsoever. Very nice trigger pull on it too.

Do yourself a favor though- get the retainer plate that replaces the shepherd's crook spring (Red Star Arms makes it). It makes reassembly MUCH easier.

+1 on the retainer plate. It makes things much easier when replacing the AK FCG.
