Making a 3" S&W K-frame

I have a gun in my safe that may get such a treatment someday. It's a S&W Victory model. The issue markings were all but obliterated when it was refinished many moons ago and I picked it up for a song. It's a great shooter and that old long action is a joy.

Someday I'll have the butt rounded, hammer bobbed, and the barrel chopped to 3in to make, IMHO, the perfect .38 carry gun.

I have a M19 2&1/2" and a redundant 3" M13 RB that I could probably be talked out of for a reasonable price. I like the 19 better.
