making my taurus safety more stiff

Is there a easy way to make the safety on my Taurus 709 a bit more stiff?
it not loose really, but the gun is pocket carried and id like a little more insurance.

I'm not familiar with the 709, but if the saftey uses a spring and detent a slightly stronger spring should give you the results you are looking for.
