Stiff safety on Mossberg 930

I just got a Mossberg 930 SPX and while I like the gun so far, the safety is very stiff. I realize it is a new gun and bound to be a little stiff at first, but is there any quick fix for smoothing up the safety without doing major surgery?

Oil?

Better yet, oil it and work it a few dozen times.

remodel It's oiled up fine. I was thinking maybe liquid graphite.
