I'm probably going to buy a Ruger P345 for personal carry, but which is more practical, the manual saftey or the decock option. I'm thinking manual safety because it can decock as well, decock doesn't have a safety. Thanks! I changed my mind after playing with one at the store today.

Get the decock if ya can find one, or get used to taking it off safe, when you holster it. The stiff DA pull is all the safety you need.

The safety model decocks when you put on safe, the decock version springs back up for DA pull, no safety.

I had a Ruger P95 and it had the decocker. There is no point in having a safety on a DA gun with a decocker. That is just my humble opinion, but I believe also the opinion of many others here.

Mine has the safety. It's not at all obtrusive, very easy to manipulate, and I've learned to take it off as I draw. To me, it's no problem.
