Gang,

This does not entirely fit in this forum topic area, but given that it pertains to a job change for a person deeply involved in the importation of Tanfoglio semi-autos (and that many of us here know) I hope it won’t be too out of line. I know that many of you who are fans of Tanfoglio pistols got to know Marc Galli during his time as Marketing Director for EAA. Tanfoglio fans were disappointed when he left EAA as his efforts there were making positive changes in the company’s product line. He is a consummate gentleman and really did a lot to provide quality customer service when needed at EAA. I personally got to be good friends with Marc due to my interest in Tanfoglio firearms, and I am honored that he asked me to let all of his friends on the gun forums know about his new position. Beginning today Marc has taken the reigns as Marketing Manager for DSA, Inc. This is an exciting move for Marc as he has long been a fan of the DSA product line—in particular their high quality FALs. He wanted me to tell those of you who dealt with him at EAA to please contact him directly if you need anything that DSA offers. The same friendly, quality service we came to expect from him at EAA will now be gracing the offices of DSA. I expect we will see some very interesting things come from that company as he works to add new ventures to their product lines. I hope to be involved in some of those projects, and will keep you all informed of anything of interest to forum members. For now let me just say things are about to get interesting…

Problem is, I'm poor - but if he wants to play an early Santa Clause, I've been a really, really good boy :D

That's the rifle (R1) I used in the SA military (the standard-size, though, not the Para) before we changed to the Galil-type R4 - the Galil was great for bush warfare, but I've never lost my love for that sleek black lady. Wonder if I'd miss one of my kidneys....

I Too...

... would have liked a little info about the experiences and particulars regarding EAA, atblis. However, all things considered with EAA, perhaps it is best to treat that as a learning endeavor and not have Mr. Gali relive the past(I hear flashbacks can be dangerous:rolleyes: ).

One thing from this info though, is that this may be a factor in deciding(for me) between a JLD PTR or a DSA FAL. Hmmm..... now, how could I manage to fit both in the budget......

Thanks Grayrider!

Well I can tell you my rule about bosses. I never talk too badly about the one I just left, because it may make the new boss wonder what I will say about them one of these days.
