Marlin 1895CB (45/70)

A customer has brought me a Marlin 1895CB that will not feed properly but also will not eject. Before I spend a few weeks troubleshooting, can anyone recommend a reputable site for good technical info? Logic tells me it is a timing issue. This is a new gun with a only a few rounds through it.

If it's a "new gun with only a few rounds through it", it is still under Factory Warrentee.

Send it back to Marlin and let them fix it free.

I'd check the ejector to see if it's installed properly. The customer may have taken the bolt out and not got it and the ejector aligned properly when doing reassembly. Here's a link to the manual in PFD form: http://www.marlinfirearms.com/pdfs/manuals/MFC_Centerfire.pdf
It shows the correct relationship of the two.
