I got my dream job in Alaska, they paid for all my moving expenses from Utah, so I bought myself a new Marlin 1895GS Guide Gun to reward myself.
I broke a small plastic part of the rear site on the gun within 10 minutes of getting it home.
My question is, what kind of iron sites are good ones to replace what's on the rifle? I don't want anything that requires additional drilling.
I'm thinking of just adding some sort of peep site to the rear of the rifle. What brand offers good quality: cost? I'd prefer to spend under $50, but it's got to be adjustable.
Is this something I need to have a gunsmith install, or can I just screw it into the already tapped part of the receiver?
Thanks.
