Alright, I'm a newbe... so sue me
I have a friend's 336 and opened the lever and couldn't get it back closed.
So I looked up how to disassemble and reassemble (I couldn't figure out where to put the bolt to get it back into place.
Did this 3 times before I figured out the problem. The screw that holds the loading spring got just a bit loose and was catching the lever when opened so it wouldn't close. (I had a similar problem on my 1894 357 where the ammo wouldn't go into the chamber...why I didn't think of that first I don't know.)
But the point is that I figured it out. You'all would have done it more quickly, but so will I...next time.
First time I used the screwdrivers and punches I got at the last gunshow a month ago.
Merry Jesus' birthday everyone!
