Hi guys
I was wondering if yall could make me up a list of aftermarket accessories/replacement parts to customize my brand new marlin 795. im especially looking for aftermarket stocks, like thumbhole wooden stocks, or just a better looking synthetic or something. Also what can i do as far as heavy barrels? what other marlin rifles can interchange barrels with this rifle? also is there any way to lighten up the trigger pull on this rifle and make it crisper?
Thanks guys!
Dylan

go to rimfirecentral.com; all your marlin questions will be answered.
for starters on the trigger;polish the sear/hammer areas, and replace the trigger return spring either with something like a bic pen clicky spring, a harddrive door spring, or cut one of the coils off of that spring. This is a good start.

oh yeah, if your 795 is new, and you still have the receipt, there is a 20 dollar internet rebate available, from marlin i think, to turn in with a copy of receipt.
So if you bought if on sale for say, 110 bucks, and you use the rebate, you can get the whole thing for about 97 bucks;
This will be about the last time, ever, you will hear of a brannew rifle being under 100 bucks, and a damn good one at that!!!!

there are some boyd's stocks as well, that I think will replace the 795 stock, both wood and laminate.
