Marlin 99C/60 22LR peep sights

I have a Marlin 99C that I would like to put peep sights. Is this pretty easy with Williams front and rear peep sights? The front sight is a blade sight that I would like to change out with a sight from Williams, if possible.

I am trying to fix the gun up for some club silhouette matches that only allow open or peep sights on 22 rifles.

Or Skinner barrel mounted peep sight. Cheaper and works with the factory front blade.
