Marlin Camp 9 + Kel Tec mag?

No, it's too short to seat properly. Some people have cut about a half inch off the Marlin magwell to allow it to fit but I decided I wouldn't do that to mine unless I head an extra magwell. Want to keep it original.

Use the S&W 69 series 12 rounders which are identical to the Marlin original mag. I use 15, 20 and 30 round S&W 59 clones in my Marlin as well as my KT sub 2000.

Ah, too bad, that must be infuriating.

Here's an idea: for a while KT sold the sub2K with a mag that that was as long as a 15 rounder (to fit the KT magwell) but was buggered up to only hold 10 rounds. Ugly looking thing. In fact, they may still sell that, check their website. Anyway, it is 10 round legal and will fit the Marlin magwell but will stick out a bit at the bottom.

Or you could vote your stupid politicians out of office. Or move to NH where people aren't paranoid about firearms. Good luck with it.

The Kel-Tec 10 round Sub2000 magazines work, had all three guns at one point. But the 10 round Sub2000 magazine wouldn't seat in the P-11?

Quite right, but I was asking because I just acquired a P11 and I was interested in the idea of having a carbine that used the same mags. 59/X59/59XX and 69/X69/69XX mags would protrude out of the P11, and therefore don’t really interest me.

Thank you though.

Hey... as long as we're doing camp9's today....

I have one disassembled (won't work). The trigger group assembly, when removed, won't release the hammer past the locked position of about 50 degrees from horizontal, like the safety is stuck. Is that normal? When I reassembled it (I was working on a locked bolt) I noticed that the trigger doesn't seem to work either. Could one of you guys tell me if the trigger should release the hammer on a "removed" trigger group? I really don't want to take it apart further, but will if I need to.

Sorry this is a bit off topic, but I hope I'm in the company of friends here...

JJ, post this in the gunsmithing section, it'll get better attention. I can't envision what you're describing, but you do recall that the Marlins had a "magazine safety", don'tcha? Could that be a factor here?
