The recoil buffer on my camp 9 has completely disintegrated. Looks like the part has been discontinued according to Brownells. Almost looks like I could make one out of rubber or something like that. Anybody have any ideals?

Thanks in advance

Forget blackjack buffers. I called twice and left a message per instructions and never recieved a return phone call. I won't do business with someone who operates like that.

The buffer in my camp 9 disinegrated also. My buddy has some 1/4" nylon plastic that he uses for shims and hold downs on a full scale plane he is building so i don't know where he bought it. It was bought local i believe. This stuff is pretty close to what came out of the gun.

We cut a piece to fit and roughed up the back side toward the reciever and glued it in place with hot glue. Fast and simple and best of all cheap.

Thumbs up for Black Jack's buffers. I didn't try to call, just ordered over the net without a problem. Shipped quick and has functioned great in my Camp 9. Definately better than the original nylon that disintegrated and took out the hammer strut/strut bridge when it failed (and those parts aren't easy to find!). Learned my lesson and check frequently now.
