Marlin Glolden 39AS 22 lr?

$500 is what I paid for mine, old enough to be a Marlin, young enough to have the crossbolt safety. I figured it to be a 97% rifle, couple very minor dings in the wood.
 
OK, you guys got me to missing my 39A Golden (gave it to my heirs) so much that when I saw an ad in the local listings, I jumped on it. Not the Golden, but 1983 vintage 39A. I can manage OK without the checkering. Other than the wood needing refinished, it's a very sweet rifle with adjustable peep sight added.
