Looks like they're finally up and running. Looking forward to checking one out in person when the finally hit the shelves.

"We are excited to officially flip the switch and let our customers know that Marlin is back," said Ruger President and CEO, Chris Killoy. "Since the move of over 100 truckloads of equipment and inventory back in November 2020, our engineering team took the 1895 through a complete design and production review focused on achieving the highest quality, accuracy, and performance standards. The end result is a quality rifle, produced using modern manufacturing methods, that consumers will be sure to enjoy and proud to own."

I find lotsa matches for "Ruglin" for Ruger-made Marlin designs. Maybe only this thread for "Rarlin".

Let's keep the established acronym.

I have (JM) Marlin M60, Golden 39A Mountie .22s and 336W .30-30, and wish Ruger good luck with their Marlin line.

"Remlin" was a nightmare best forgot.

I suspect, because I have not tried them all, that many Remington-produced Marlins were just fine, but the learning curve models got the attention in the press and elsewhere. That, plus the human tendency to place a higher value on things no longer produced, has certainly enhanced the value of JM specimens, and I have no problem with that. The main thing is to get these out and enjoy them.
