Yup, second on the Boyd's reference.
I had 7 Model 60's I bought from $25 used to $135 new for a SS model. (the kids took three of them) so I'm down to only 4.
I recently picked up three of the Boyd's premium thumbhole sticks for the 60 on one of their 50% off sales and they are beautiful.
They are going on the rifles my adult kids "borrowed" from me at the last few range sessions.
They are pretty much a drop in fit and you decide how to finish them. My one son is staining his walnut stock to bring out the grain and my 35 school teacher daughter decided she wants hers to be bright red enamel. The jury is still out on the third one.
The only "problem" is they are all for right handed shooters. I shoot lefty (cross eye dominance) and have been bugging Boyd's for something for all of us Lefty 60 shooters.
Go to the Boyd's website and sign up for their e-mail blasts, usually about one every two weeks or so. While you're there check out their clearance items, just in case they have some remaining.
Excellent quality and beautiful grain on the majority of their products.
